GENERAL INFORMATION

Do you offer samples of your products?

Yes, we do offer samples of Borders, Wallpaper, Mural-Style Borders, and Mini Murals. They are 12 inches wide by the height of the product and are $4.99 each. We also offer samples of Pre-Pasted Murals that are 20 inches high by 16 inches wide and feature a reduced image of the entire mural plus a full-scale crop of the design for $9.99 each. All samples usually ship within 48-hours. Sorry, samples are not available for Peel & Stick Accents, Pre-Pasted Accents, Bliss Murals, Minute Murals or Easy-Up Murals. What are your products printed on?

We offer a variety of product type and each is printed on the ideal material for its intended use. Our borders are printed on a very high-quality, strippable pre-pasted material, as are certain types of our murals. Other murals are produced on heavyweight, recycled paper and require paste. And our peel & stick decals feature easy to use self-adhesive vinyl. All of our materials are washable and strippable or removable. Are all of your murals pre-pasted?

Some of them are. We offer four basic types of murals: Pre-Pasted, Bliss, Easy-Up, and Minute Murals. Only the Pre-Pasted Murals feature a pre-pasted material. Only the Bliss murals require paste. The Easy-Up and Minute Murals are installed using adhesive tabs or mounting brackets respectively. For more information, see the About Our Products page.

Do you offer metric sizes for international customers?

While our website is not currently configured to feature metric sizes, please feel free to contact us for assistance in converting our sizes to metric.

Can I speak to a real person?

Yes! All of our calls are handled by one of our trained and friendly customer service members. Please keep in mind that your call will initially be answered by our automated service, simply to properly direct it. This is a very brief menu and you will always be pointed to a real person.

INSTALLATION & CARE

Can I install two of the same mural side-by-side for a seamless installation?

No. Although some murals may appear to have a repeating pattern, all of our murals are designed as stand alone pieces. If you purchase two of them and install them side-by-side, the seam will be noticeable. If your desired installation space is larger than the mural of your choice, please contact us at 1-877-SHOP4-10. In some cases a larger size may be available, a custom size may be created, or customer service can provide you with some ideas for trimming out the space.

I noticed that the border I am about to install is slightly narrower than the one I already installed on the wall. Is it defective?

No. It is normal for a border to become ever so slightly wider once it has been wetted and installed (up to about 1/8 of an inch). As such, a dry out-of-the-box border will appear slightly narrower when placed next to it. Once you wet the new border, it will expand just as the previous one and the pattern will match up. If you notice a gap larger than 1/8 of an inch the product may be defective. In that case, please call us at 1-877-SHOP4-10 for assistance.

Are wall murals 'Do-it-Yourself'?

Yes. Most customers install their own murals. Our Pre-Pasted Murals go up much like wallpaper, and our Easy-Up and Minute Murals install quickly just like hanging a poster or picture on the wall. Our Bliss murals are one piece so they are two-person job, but most customers still find them easy enough to install without professional help. If you prefer a professional installation, please call us as we can recommend a qualified installer from the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers.

What if my wall is not a smooth surface?

We do not recommend installation of our products on textured or rough surfaces. A clean, wall painted with a well-cured, flat or low-lustre paint is ideal. In particular, peel & stick decals will not adhere to any textured, rough, or dirty surface. Because they are not applied to the wall, but rather suspended from hooks, Minute Murals are one exception to this rule.

Can peel & stick decals be repositioned?

Yes, once or twice. During initial installation, the decal may be removed and repositioned should you need to adjust its position on the wall. However, our decals are not designed for repeated removal and reapplication. The more the adhesive is handled or disturbed the less tacky it will become.

Can your products be cleaned?

Yes, any of our products may be lightly washed with a damp sponge. Excessive scrubbing or harsh cleansers will damage the printed surface and should be avoided.

Will my wall be damaged when I remove your products to redecorate?

No, the wall will not be damaged. Any of our pre-pasted products are strippable and may only require paste residue to be wiped off with a common wallpaper remover. However, our peel & stick accents and the adhesive tabs that are supplied with Easy-Up murals can slightly mar a painted wall when removed, and may require slight touch-up.

What do I need to know before I begin hanging one of your products?

For any of our products, your wall surface should be clean, smooth, and free of irregularities. Fresh paint should be allowed to cure thoroughly* per the manufacturers instructions. Painted surfaces should either be flat or low-lustre. Peel & Stick products especially will not adhere to a rough or textured surface. For more information read the specific installation instructions for your product. They may be downloaded at our installation page.

*Latex paint can take up to six weeks to fully cure. Prior to this, even though it may be dry to the touch, paint solvents can seep into the product’s adhesive, rendering it ineffective.

What other types of installation do you offer besides pasting to my wall?

We have three product types that are designed to be applied without the need for paste. Peel & Stick Accents apply just like stickers and go up in seconds. Our Easy-Up murals are hung on a wall using small adhesive tabs. And our Minute Murals are hung just like a painting using small hooks. For more information visit our Product Types page.

How do I install your products?

Each product is shipped with complete installation instructions that includes a thorough list of tools you may need. We recommend Romans Ultra Premium Clear Strippable PRO-880, available at most paint and decorating retailers.

Can you ship via the United States Postal Service?

Yes, we can ship almost any way you prefer, though an additional shipping fee may apply. If you prefer a carrier other than UPS, please contact us to make arrangements.

Do you accept international orders?

Yes. We welcome international orders and will ship to all locations served by UPS, though we can use an alternate carrier if you desire (additional fees may apply). How are your larger items like murals packaged?

Large products such as our murals are rolled inside a protective wrap and shipped in a heavyweight cardboard tube. Every effort is made to ensure that the product is delivered to you in excellent condition without any creases or wrinkles. Should you discover any damage from shipping, please call us immediately at 1-877-SHOP4-10.

Do you charge sales tax?

There is no sales tax for purchases shipped outside of Ohio. Ohio residents will be charged applicable sales tax.

How long until my order ships?

While we do inventory some of our most popular products for next-day shipping, most of our products are printed on-demand when an order is received. Please allow 7 – 10 Business Days for production in addition to your selected shipping time.
